The 70s marked a golden age for Wales’ Rugby team. During the decade of 1969 to 1979 Wales won 8 times the 5 Nations tournament (now known as 6 Nations); winning 5 triple crowns and two Grand Slams. That Welsh team dominated rugby in the northern hemisphere.
